Napoli in the Spring

A time-tested compliment of flavors from Italy. A perfect trio of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry crθme brulee, served with chocolate dipped vanilla tuile cookies and fresh strawberries. Presented with a lemon creme anglaise and sugar garnish.

I was going for the Neopolitan aesthetic here. Chef Ian didn't care for the dagger-like tuile cookies, and the portions were too big. Otherwise, he loved it. I had purchased these little ramekins specially. Looking back, I would have put the strawberries down before the sauce. The 'sugar garnish' mentioned in the menu didn't make it - I was so nervous that they shattered under my touch.
