I originally went to school because I loved bread. I knew that people would always need bread - at least, until they came out with a super mega nutrition pill or something. I wanted to know all there was to know about bread, how to make it properly, what could be done with it.
Turns out I was pretty good with all the fiddly pastry things, too.
At school, I found a touch for the decorative elements I didn't know I had.
Unfortunately, I don't have photos of most of the pastries I ever made, when I was working at bakeries or the club. But I'm building my portfolio, slowly and surely.
