My first ever commissioned baking was for a Beltaine festival.  I created cookies, cakes, petit fours, and bread for the event.  As a centerpiece, I created this 12 strand braided loaf.

It reminded people of the movie Krull, in which the hero carried a five-bladed weapon called The Glaive.  His weapon wasn't nearly as tasty as this, though.  I used egg bread for this, and I've created a tutorial on how to make this type of braided loaf here.
